SYNOPSIS It’s been five years since Brooke’s (Portman) heard from her ex-girlfriend Lynn (Watson). Despite a turbulent break up, the two remained close friends, even after going their seperate ways. The two remained in contact and appeared to have a wonderful friendship, so much so that when Lynn got engaged to her fiance, Derek (Pattinson), she did not hesitate to invite Brooke.

However, as the day of Lynn’s wedding approached, Brooke began to realize more and more how dependent she had become on Lynn, despite no longer being in a commited relationship. She is distraught over conflicting feelings of love and longing for Lynn, but struggles to hide this from her ex-lover turned friend.

In the end, Brooke has to come to terms with the fact that Lynn no longer feels the same way and to accept what they had was over and finally get closure after all that’s happened as she travels to Lynn’s wedding in Ocala.
