Day 30 - Your favorite song at this time last year
Beautiful Love - The Afters
I can’t be too sure this was exactly around this time last year, but for the most part of last year, this was my favorite song. I was looking into Christian Rock that wasn’t so dreadfully obnoxious and came across them.(I find that when bands try not to be so overtly Christian, they sound mellow and romantic- the latter of which would be really really disturbing when thought of in the context of actual Christian themes.)
This song was just that: romantic. It’s so non-sexual and passionate. Plus it’s got that hint of melancholiness that made me a sucker for it.

Only done in reverse, since I think the first two are the hardest to answer.
I can almost taste freedom!
Just my 3D animation, 2D animation and AutoCad plates left to do. I can almost cry from the sheer heppiness I’m feeling.

Dad & Alek: What a dumb answer (to Australia)
Venus wasn’t as bad as I feared, but I’m still shocked she made it this far. :\
I laughed my ass off when the orange one spoke. And his question … Yeah, you’d know all about unsupervised internet usage, wouldn’t you?
Anyway, I was rooting for Jamaica because her body was the least frightening looking to me but I’m now inclined to say Ukraine because she seems really smart. Too bad Miss USA didn’t make it. I liked her too.
Miss France was adorable IMO, but she looked underage.
I shouldn’t be watching because I end up writing what I hear on TV on my schoolwork. Fuck, I hate school.
I’m so convinced I’m doomed to fail everything, I’ve already gone into apathetic-mode.

how in? I don’t even?
The power of fanboy devotion, that’s what.
Fuck, that other entry was meant for my other, srs biznis tumblr, AlekInexelsis. But maybe just one more nasty entry about why, once again, I must stress how much I don’t believe in racial or nationalistic pride.
You do not negotiate with terrorists of any kind. That mistake was already made with the Jun Ducat situation years back and that idiotic handling of the situation is what enabled this in it’s own way.
No matter how good the intentions are, to have to threats and and the use of fear and intimidation as a motivator is the most despicable thing one can do. I mean, look at religion.
I can’t help but think that if Jun Ducat had not gotten off as easily he did back then, this wouldn’t have went down.
Not that that is any excuse for what Mendoza did, but I cannot help but look in contempt at the society that propelled this kind of thinking. Long an short is, everyone has no fucking clue how to handle things.
The cops are shitty at what they do and don’t even know how to properly deal with any sort of sensitive situation. Politicians who just sit around looking pretty and spouting things that sound useful but don’t do jack shit. Civilians who are just plain stupid and make every situation worse by their involvement. And most despicable of all is the media who allegedly espouses truth and education, when all they want to do is get a scoop and will stop at nothing to do it.
Unlike cops who I think are just ignorant of how sensitive situations are supposed to be handled, I think the media is fully aware of how intrusive their actions are, but much rather care about their own gain. (Remember the Padilla case?)
The sentiment floating around twitter puts a bad taste in my mouth. “Not all Filipinos are like Rolando Mendoza”. Maybe not, but too many are spineless and almost everyone is a part of the fucking problem.
In a way, while I think he was a right deluded idiot, I can’t help but feel sorry for Mendoza for being in such a society that allowed it to have to come to this.
I cannot be out of here sooner.
Yeh, and? Anything else I can do for you, captain obvious?
I have so much work to do. I want to kill myself. Or at least flounce out of life for like… a couple of months.
I miss life outside school.

It’s for ANDIAMO, an Italian Restaurant in NAIA Terminal 3.
The Mural would be 8 x 12 ft. It’s of an Italian street, or so I’m told. Something like that. Maybe a vineyard. Hand painted, the whole thing. They’re not looking for a specific style, just that it can look somewhat realistic.
Besides that, they’re asking for a painted design for the trims on the walls. Just a pattern of leaves that they can make a seamless print of. The looks should be painted as well, but they’re just have it printed.
The mural should be done within a week or less.
Pay is P20,000.
Any questions?

Coincidentally, I was watching the episode of Nevermind the Buzzcocks wherein Matt Schultz was a panelist. He’s hilarious.
